Up for auction is a Vintage RARE West-Germany Glass Blown Santa Tree Top w/ Spun Glass cloud & feather tree. It measures about 10 1/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 wide. I collect old Christmas and have never seen such a big hand blown tree top like this. The Santa is wearing a rare white robe with red or pink trim and a beard of sugar type crystals. T is a feather tree on his right side and he is standing on a spun glass cloud with a composition script "Merry Christmas" glued on the front. It is in very good condition with some paint loss on his face, hat and robe. It has crazing all over. It is all one piece with the base being the tube with which the glass blower used to make this glass santa. Very Rare and unusual! It is in them original box, just cardboard with made in West-Germany written on the end and 1/12 doz. Also some crayon writing. I love it but also need to make a living so good luck bidding on this Rare Santa Tree Topper with the old feather tree & spun Glass! (Actually, since the partition of Germany is the end of WWII in Europe, this most likely is not from 1945, but could be between May 8 and the end of the year).
