*** FINE OLD HURON INDIAN GREAT LAKES NATIVE CARVED ANCIENT FOSSIL IVORY SPIRIT EFFIGY PENDANT and TRADE BEAD NECKLACE ***HI, is another Fine Old Indian Relic from our Large Old Family Estate Ethnographic Collection. This is an Old relic from the Huron Indians of the Northern (Canada) Great Lakes region. The Old Effigy Spirit Face which was believed to bring "Good Energy" and "Protective Spirits" to the wearer was Handcarved from Ancient Fossilized animal Ivory that was found in Canada by Huron Natives and was likely chosen to carve as Natives considered it prized material for its ancient Energy. Measuring good size at 2 1/4" in length, the carved Sprit Face has a clear nostrils, mouth, thick strong extended jaw and eyes that appear to follow you. It is hung on an Old Hudson Bay White Heart Trade Bead Necklace that measures approx. 29" in length. I am offering it with Low Reserve!
