IS A FINE OLD PIECE OF NAVIGATION AND/OR POLICE MEMORABILIA. THIS IS AN EARLY NICKLE SILVER POLICE BADGE FROM THE ISTHMIAN STEAMSHIP LINES. THE LINE WAS NAMED FOR THE PANAMA CANAL. THE BADGE IS ABOUT 2 1/4" TALL AND IS IN VERY FINE CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. THE PIN AND CATCH ARE INTACT AND ARE FUNCTIONING PERFECTLY. IS A LINK TO A BIT OF HISTORY ON THE ISTHMIAN STEAMSHIP LINES. / This badge is obsolete and complies with all Ebay rules and regulations in that it is of a style no longer in use, more than seventy five years old and/or from an organization that no longer exists.
