This is a beautiful Old John Primble India Steel Works doctor's, physician's knife pattern measuring 3 1/4" long in the closed poisition. The handles are jigged blond bone with no shrinkage, no chips or cracks. The long pull, master spear blade & the pen blade are clearly tang stamped "John Primble India Steel Works". The pen blade has a double stamp "India Steel". Very unusual & original. Both blades have great snap. Lined bolsters. This is a fine quality old John Primble knife. Circa 1890-1940. A real dandy!! Nice rare piece of cutlery history. The blades have a shiney, satiny finish. Nice full length blades. Knife shows better than the pictures. NO RESERVE!! Knife will be shipped upon receipt of payment.
