This old miniature bayonet measures 7 5/8" in length. The tang reads US. Opposite side of blade reads, WASECA. Waseca is a town in southern Minnesota. Piece has a few minor blemishes but overall condition is very nice. I am unsure what metal this piece is made of. A magnet does not ad to it. I suspect it could possibly be silver??? I don't know the history of this piece but would suspect it to be quite old.***Insurance is buyer's option.
