OLD PAPUAN GULF DOGTOOTH MONEY STRAND At least 40 years old this is a form of currency used in the Purari delta area of the Papuan gulf predominantly for bride price. This particular strand has over 140 teeth (35 dogs) and is strung on bush fibre rope. It is joined in the middle with trae store cloth and also decorated with strips of red cloth Condition as shown in photographs Dimension Length: 220 cm The cost of shipping and handling this currency to anyw will be $20 by economy air post. Insurance is available upon request.
