I am going to try to list items several times a week through the end of May... This auction is for a wonderful old (circa 1940's - 50's) drop leaf / dropleaf table... Perfectly shabby with that old 1940's farmhouse kitchen appeal! I love these old tables with their butterfly drop leaves, lending the table to a variety of uses in your home. Cute & functional! Perfect for Shabby Cottage Chic, Contemporary Country, Primitive Farmhouse and Romantic decors alike! Can be used as a kitchen / dining table (great size for small spaces), behind or beside a sofa, out on the porch or patio. When the leaves are folded down, these make great tables placed behind your sofa to display photos, place a lamp on, etc. They are also wonderful to have on hand when you have extra company over, especially during the holidays when you need more dining table room!The table can have both leaves pulled up, only one or both down. The swing out support brackets are sturdy and in working condition. The legs can be removed, so this can be stored easily (and it will help on the shipping!) I'm really not sure what kind of wood this is... It's not real heavy, and it has a thick coat of dark stain on it... like a deep mahogany or cherry color, and it looks like t is old paint underneath it as well. It could be scuffed up / distressed more to give it an even greater primitive look, or use your imagination and paint it to match your decor. These also look cute tole painted or you can apply vintage decals to the table top for your own unique style. MEASUREMENTS: (Approximates) Table stands 29 1/4" high. With the leaves down, it is 21" wide, with both leaves opened/up, 42". The length is 35 3/4". SHIPPING: I'm placing a flat shipping rate of $50 on this item (which will include insurance). I won't package this item until it is sold / paid for, but if actual shipping ends up being less than what is quoted, I will refund the over If the cost is more, I will absorb the difference. I plan on shipping via UPS, however, I can look into shipping via Greyhound GPX if you prefer. Again, overpayment on shipping will be refunded.
