1950s USAF SAC B-36 unit: 6th BOMBARDMENT WING. Unit was based at Walker AFB, NM from 1950-1956. Later converted to B-52 at Eielson AFB,AK. This historic wing is now an Air Mobility Wing. Patch is approx 4-1/8" high tip to bottom; thick old embroidery on white twill with fine gauze backing.The unit ID is( incorrectly) written lightly in pen on backside but ink has not soaked through to front of patch . Patch is otherwise clean, unused, EXCELLENT CONDITION. PLEASE CHECK MY LISTINGS DAILY FOR NEW PATCHES BEING OFFERED. *Postage is $1.50 for 1-3 patches in USA. Postal insurance is optional and is $3.00 for any amount of coverage, within USA only. Cost includes safe protective envelope. *International Airmail is $2.00 for 1-3 patches. Registered Mail is optional and costs $12 extra, and is recommended for higher-value items.Postal insurance is not available outside USA. *I cannot be responsible for losses by the postal system. If you do not purchase Postal Insurance (for USA) then any losses in the mail are your own responsibility. Full Postal insurance is not available for overseas shipments.
