Oh~My~Gosh! - Isn't it dreamy!!! Offered for your bidding consideration is an "ExCePTioNal" OLD ANTIQUE FRENCH MIRROR w/SHELF & ChiPPy Patina!!! - An authentic time~worn beauty!!!This ViNtaGe Mirror has EVERYTHING going for it!!! The gilt-gold ornate gesso frame is PeRfecTly chippy in all the right places!!! It has it's share of chips and age-related shrinkage cracks, but is stable... The gilt-gold paint itself has acquired a wonderful patina with light and dark areas along with subtle brown highlights... The shelf area, top and underside, shows a chippy, deep burnt orange paint color, a perfect compliment to the gilt-gold... The mirror's surface reflects true, and has an AwEsoMe silver-loss patina!!! The backside has both a hook eye and a wire for hanging... T appears to be 2 small old repairs on the backside - reinforcing the mirrors frame, not really worth mentioning, but it is t T are no manufacturer markings, but I would think this mirror to be French - due to the gilt paint application over the gesso frame, and the ornate raised decorative scrolls of the Rococo period...
