GRADUATED strand of exceptionally well made old 1950's or earlier Venetian glass millefiori beads. LOADED with millefiori flowers that are in all the gorgeous bright classic colors that the Italian artisans used: shades of blue, greens, red, orange shades, brown, yellow, black and white. SMOOTH finished style beads that are as bright and shiny as when they were made--no broken or chipped beads. ORIGINAL stringing with twisted red/yellow cord and knots in between each bead. MEASUREMENTS & DETAILS: The necklace end to end measures 23 1/2" long. GRADUATED beads with the large center bead measuring 16mm's (5/8") diameter and graduating down to beads that measure 8mm's (1/4") diameter. The brass bead caps have developed a softened patina. Bead tips finish off the ends and the brass screw clasp has developed a softened patina. This a beautiful and spectacular necklace that is sure to please, it would be a lovely addition to an existing vintage Venetian glass bead collection or a nice beginning of one.
