UNIQUE ORIGINAL SHIPS LIGHT Up for auction is an old brass ship light / lantern that is in really good condition with a beautiful patina. The round glass is a smokey gray with a bulls eye type pattern on it. T are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cage part around the outside of the glass is a little out of round but adds to it's unique charm. This lantern stands about 12 1/2" high and at the base of the handle w it screws to the wall has a raised ships wheel symbol on it. Behind that , on the side that goes against the wall it reads " D H R HOLLAND PATENT PENDING". This lantern can be hung or screwed to the wall. If you don't want to rewire it you can probably put a candle in it for indoor or outdoor decoration. Please ask questions before bidding as all sales are final.
