This auction is for an old vintage (1950's or earlier) CHRISTMAS HOUSE electrical/mechanical Santa's Sleigh Ride Christmas tree decoration and tree topper set. The box says: Santa and his reindeer silently orbit your Christmas tree. - A perky tree top Santa also revolves, keeping an eye on the celestial journey. The graphics on the box show a Santa at the top of a metal rod and the sled and reindeer revolving around the tree (6 times per minute). This set has 2 plastic sleighs ( sleighs have velvet flocking covering the plastic) with Santas in them with gifts. T are 4 reindeer pulling each sleigh. These Santa, sleigh and reindeer sets measure approx. 13" long and have a metal rod running through the center of them for mounting to the metal rod that makes them circle the tree. T are 2 metal rods with motors and clamps but only one wire that must have attached the top Santa to the sleigh and reindeer. T are NO top Santas in the box. The box is approx. 37" long. It is in very very nice condition for its age. The sleigh and reindeer sets are like new. This is a very interesting vintage Christmas collectible. Even without the tree top Santa the set is still very collectible. Perhaps it could be used to complete other vintage sets. Nice to add to a vintage Christmas collection or display. We purchased this set at an old estate auction
