This is a very old Solingen made pike by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. I was told this could quite possibly be Civil War Era, but I'm not real knowledgeable in this area. Pike head is in pretty good shape, but does show its age with some nicks and a little rust. It is drilled on two sides for mounting and the maker's name is still quite visible. The bamboo pole that it is mounted to is purely decorative. The pike head is 1 foot in length with a 5.5 inch squared point.
