This old wood float, with the original rope loop at the top, has a nicely executed hand painted lighthouse scene. Under the large oval scene are the words, "LIGHT THE WAY". The item is really vintage, rather than antique.It is obvious that the painting is not new, but I have no idea the exact dating of it. My guess is that it may be about 10 or 15 years old, maybe older. It has no damage at all, and the colors are bright and clear. This is a nice little piece of nautical-motif folkart.The float measures approx. 6 1/4" high (including the rope loop) and about 2 3/4" across the widest point. We gladly accept personal checks, USPS Money Orders, and Cashier Checks as payment for auction winnings. We do NOT accept PayPal.We now require insurance on all items. Actual insurance fee will be included in S/H cost stated. In addition, we charge 50 cents per package to help defray rising gasoline costs. We hope that will be temporary. PAYMENT & SHIPPING TERMS....We gladly accept Personal Checks, Cashier Checks and USPS Money Orders as payment for auction invoices. We do not accept PayPal or anyother online forms of payment at this time.We request payment be made within 10 days of end of auction.
