Offered for your consideration is this older custom crown stag hunting knife. I have no idea who the maker may have been and the knife is completely unmarked. The knife shows no signs of use, carry, or sharpening and remains in perfect condition. The thick blade was nicely ground with perfect symmetry. It really looks as though it may be an "off-the-shelf" blade, but I have no way of knowing this. The guard is of thick brass and was nicely done. The extra-long handle is a medley of exotic hardwoods, fiber spacers, and what lokks to be stacked leather. This is capped with a generous chunk of crown stag. All handle components are completely tight and correctly aligned. The knife has a very nice balance and feels great in the hand. It is very solid and sturdy and was nicely done. The blade is 6" and the knife measures 11-3/8" in overall length. The sheath is of thick leather and looks to have been custom made for this knife. It is nicely made and in excellent condition with no problems at all. Perfect for the upcoming hunting seasons. A nice custom with a unique look!!
