This auction is for a Older Poppy Milk Glass Student Lamp, made by the Fenton Art Glass Company between 1965 and 1972. This lamp is 20 inches tall and comes with the frosted glass chimney. The shade is 7 3/4 inches tall and is 8 1/2 inches across.(6 3/4 inche across w it fits into the metal ring) Beautiful three dimensional poppys that just seem to "pop" out of the glass. This lamp is pre-makers...but is obviously (and guaranteed to be) Fenton Poppy pattern It is pictured in numerous fenton reference books. This lamp is in excellent condition.....no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. The shade...the marble base....the metal parts...all are in excellent condition. T is some very minor roughness on the rim of the shade.....came this way from the factory. This lamp is in nice working condition. Great additon to any fenton glass collection....perfect for everyday use.....fits any decor.....great gift item for that special collector in your life. This lamp was only made by Fenton for about 7 years. Not made by fenton in over 30 years. These older fenton lamps are getting hard to find. Please email early with any questions.
