PLEASE SEE MY OTHER KNIFE AUCTIONS ON EBAY DISREGARD WHATEVER IT SAYS FOR POSTAGE IN THIS AUCTION. THE NEW TURBO LISTER MAKES ME PUT IN A WEIGHT AND SHIPPING METHOD. THIS METHOD DOES NOT INCLUDE INSURANCE WHICH I USE FOR MOST DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS. UPON COMPLETION OF THE AUCTION, I WILL PAY PAL YOU AN INVOICE WITH EXACTLY WHAT IT COSTS ME TO SHIP TO YOU. T ARE NO HIDDEN CHARGES, NO HANDLING FEES. 3 3/8" closed, CURVED JACK. Sheepfoot master deeply struck, "JOSEPH RODGERS & SONS." Slow to close. Secondary pen blade carries the "G CROWN R" stamping of King George the VI (1936-1952). The knife is most likely late 1940's. VERY interesting feature, in that, "OIL THE JOINTS" is on the reverse side of the pen blade. Rodgers knives with that marking are few and far between. Rattail iron bolsters, iron liners and iron pins. Right after the war, nickel silver was hard to come by. Cream celluloid handles with slight shrinkage at bolsters. EXCELLENT used condition. By bidding on this item, you are declaring that you are at least 18 years of age. No exceptions. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have and I will answer promptly. HOWEVER, I do not reveal my reserve price on any auction, nor do I have a "buy it now" price. VERY IMPORTANT: if you don't read anything else, please read this!
