J & R Oldfield Ltd manufacturers Dependence Lamp/Lantern It has a copper plate that reads "Dependence J & R Oldfield Ltd manufacturers" Made in Birmingham, England. Patent No. 20060/1904 (See photo's) . The white part of the burner read "Sherwoods Vaporite Burners. It is approx. 12" high to the top of the handle and 9" wide. The red lens is cracked but not loose (see photo's) Left and right white side marker lights are fine & intact The door hinges need to be re soldered if you want it back to spec (I would leave them as is) Some minor surface rust but overall condition is really good. Great and rare collectable piece. The lantern would polish up beautifully but I have left it as is as I prefer to leave items like this as they are! The lantern will be safely mummified in bubble wrap for shipping. Any questions please ask. Good Luck with the Bidding!!!
