Oldie - Teddy Bears of Witney Ltd Ed This is a sweetheart of a teddy bear by the name of Oldie, part of the Teddy Bears of Witney limited edition exclusives, he was inspired by a bear once in the museum there, thought to be an early Bing bear .Oldie is quite large , approximately 19 inches/ 48 cm tall, and made from mohair, which has been hand plucked and shaded to make him look bald and well loved. He is five way jointed and has a gorgeous face with aged black glass eyes and a stitched nose on a long shaved muzzle, he has lots of extra stitching to resemble and old repair to his muzzle. He is filled with a mixture of wood wol and soft stuffing and has a working tilt growler. I love the way his paw pads have been done, to look like hand stitched and re-covered. Oldie is in very good condition and has only been used for display purposes. He no longer has his limited edition certificate, though the edition was quite small at 100.
