This is a beautiful souvenir program from the Original Broadway production of the LIONEL BART hit musical "OLIVER!" at the Imperial Theatre in New York City. (The show opened January 6th, 1963 and ran for 774 performances.) ..... The musical starred CLIVE REVILL and GEORGIA BROWN and featured WILLOUGHBY GODDARD, HELENA CARROLL, GEOFFREY LUMB, JOHN CALL, DANNY SEWELL, HOPE JACKMAN, ROBIN RAMSAY, PAUL O'KEEFE and DAVID "Davy" JONES (future member of the famous TV musical group "The Monkees") ..... CREDITS: Book, Music and Lyrics by LIONEL BART (Tony Award winner) adapted from Dickens' "Oliver Twist"; Sets and Costumes designed by SEAN KENNY (Tony Award winner); Directed by PETER COE; Produced by DAVID MERRICK and DONALD ALBERY ..... The oversized 20 page program measures 9" X 12" inches and includes full production credits, photos and bios of each of the actors and members of the creative team and several pages of production photos ..... PLEASE NOTE: The scanned pages have been cropped due to the limitations of my scanner. The margins are slightly wider than shown ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing from moisture along the right edge, this program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
