I purchased this lovely Omas ballpoint pen a few years ago at a charity event to give as a gift to a very special friend. I knew nothing about the brand but the craftsmanship and the design were so very elegant- I simply couldn't resist. I put it in a drawer in my writing desk to keep til Christmas. Unfortunately, somehow between the event and and the holiday season, the black leather box got "dinged" in several places. Not horribly so but still the same. So, I simply put it back in the drawer until now. While the box has dings, the pen itself is in excellent condition and still has the original booklet under the part where the pen rests. The cap is marked Omas Italy and has a beautiful greek key motif in gold. The clip is very detailed as well. The pen measures about 4 3/4" and has a twist mechanism. I would surely keep this for myself if I didn't have so many other nice pens and so little time to write!!
