Item up for auction is a previously owned On30 "Climax" geared locomotive. I did test it and it does run. It has not been run very much so the new owner should make sure all is in order with lubrication and oiling. Please note the rear step fell off when picked up the locomotive out of the box. It does look like it could be ACC'd back into place without any trouble. When I tested the engine, it starts with three whistles on DC as it begins running. It has a Bachmann's E-Z Command Digital Command Control System. Decoder is factory programmed. There are other instructions for DCC you will need to read. Manual and CD is still sealed in the plastic bag. Engine is being offered for a very reasonable price on minimum bid to encourage bidding. The part I can not explain is the lid says it is unlettered but when you look at the engine it is lettered with initials of WRTC and the number of 27 is on the tender part of this geared engine. So, I will not give an item number because I think this lid got mixed up with another lid somehow. Engine comes with plastic working knuckle couplers on each end of the engine.
