Here is a lot of 1 ounce of Tantalum Metal. It is very heavy and makes a good addition to any element collection. It is in the form of porous electrodes and was used to store energy in cells. It is cleaned and comes in sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch. The lot of one ounce will be a mix of sizes. The colors seen in the picture are from the anode effect of being activated in the cells. It can sand off easily to expose clean metal. The Tantalum is pure.
