Onion, Chicken, Mushroom, Tomato Soup Recipe Mugs ~Set of 4~ Pretty set of four recipe mugs. These mugs feature recipes for four different soups, each surrounded by a colorful graphic depicting the ingredients in these classic recipes. Actually, the "recipes" are simply the list of ingredients, and do not include any specific cooking instructions. While these mugs are collectible, they are also ready for use! Decalware. Unmarked as to manufacturer; however, each is marked "Made in China" (see image #4). The mugs are in the "parlor pot" shape. As is ordinary with decalware, the "flaws" include some unevenness in the decal application, and a few small picks to the decal graphics. Unglazed footer, and the typical few glaze pops. In addition, Mushroom Soup has a tiny chip just to the left of the graphic (see image #3). As every collector of these soup recipe mugs is aware, there were multiple manufacturers of them, who used variable sizes of blanks in the general "parlor pot" shape. As a result, the actual measurements varied by maker (and sometimes, I think, day by day in the same factory). I'm providing average measurements for these particular mugs and, although they are a matched set, there are some slight variations common to the product and manufacturing process.
