She was an agreeable child whose best friend was a bit Dottie. Dillie kept so busy knitting scarves for her friend she had no time to be naughty. The rhythm of her needles ! But when Dillie left her knitting to have lunch, something went terribly wrong... when she came back one of her needles was gone! Even in her sleep, Dillie dreamt of knitting by the light of the stars, purling through the night making Dottie colorful scarves. Just before bed, Dillie used a chop stick to begin the scarf anew.
