hello this baby doll is approx. 2-1/2" H, 3-1/2" W and 6" L its felted blanket is 5-1/2 x 6-1/2 - this item is fully wired armatured for gentle posing - I hope you will like this baby doll of mine and i thank you for checking this guy out my work has been featured in the "Teddy Bear Review" magazine also known as "Teddy Bear & Friends" - the following is a list, giving the month and page # of my critters in the mag. June 2011 issue Page 38 lion and cat August 2011 issue Page 41 sleeping piglet December 2011 issue Page 36 praying rabbit April 2012 issue Page 44 macaw parrot and a ocean scene with 3 tropical fish swimming among the reefs I am so very honored that my work was published in this international magazine This item was handmade and is 100% made in America - since these are handmade there are no two alike - the picture does not do the item justice - its made from 100% wool - she's made completely by a process called felting - you take a ball of wool and jab (poke) it over and over again with a needle, this needle has barbs on it - these barbs matt's the wool - it littery takes thousands and thousands of jabs to make one item - you just keep adding wool and jabbing to form the wool into the shape you wish - the more you jab the harder (tighter) the wool gets - it takes me about 30 to 40 hours to make one itemsince this is 1 read more
