This Original One of a Kind *Cypress Knee Santa with Cat and Pumpkin Snowman is carved by me, Vanessa. This great piece is about 14 1/2" tall and 9" around at the base. This Santa is ready for Halloween in his purple outfit! T's a surprise in his outfit....two hitchiking ghosts! *What is a Cypress Knee???? This tree grows at the edges of swamps or streams and its' roots form natural crooks or knees that extend above the water. When the knees are removed the tree continues to thrive. The knees are then removed of bark and left to dry which is a long process. No one will ever have a carved Cypress Knee like yours. I never know what it will turn into until I start to carve. Each piece I make is completely carved and painted all the way around. This "WOOD" make a perfect gift for that special someone. This one of a kind Cypress Knee Santa has been lovingly sanded, carved, sanded again, painted with acrylic paints and stained. Each piece I carve will look fantastic greeting friends and family during the Holiday Season or all year long! Each piece is signed and dated. Thank you for looking!
