IT OPERATES BY PUSHING DOWN ON THE BUTTON ON THE SIDE WHICH OPENS 2 SHUTTERS, NOT UNLIKE A CAMERA SHUTTER, ALLOWING THE LIGHT TO BE FLASHED ON AND OFF. PEEP HOLE IN THE SIDE TO VIEW BURNER. THE METAL LANTERN MEASURES APPX. 15" HIGH, 18" WITH THE BRASS HANDLE EXTENDED IN THE UP POSITION, 7-1/2" IN DIAMETER. THE FRESNEL LENS IS FREE OF CRACKS CHIPS FLEABITES OR ANY IMPERFECTIONS.
