For your consideration is this lot of 9 assorted hammers. Here is a brief description of each starting from left to right in the first photograph above: 1. Farrier hammer. Overall length is about 13 inches. Distance from striking face to tips of claws is about 4 1/4 inches. Wooden handle is firmly affixed to hammer head. Hammer is straight and clean. 2. Ball peen s tyle hammer. Hammer head is marked "Westcraft." Handle is marked "Western Auto" on one side and "Firestone" on the other. Overall length is about 11 inches. Good , tight clean hammer. 3. Double faced u pholstery type hammer. One end is split and magnetized. Overall length is about 11 7/8 inches. Proud previous owner branded initials "LCJ" into wooden handle. Little bit of paint splatter on handle.4. Large double faced sledge hammer type hammer head. I was going to put a longer handle in this hammer head but due to the fact that the head is not symmetrical I installed a shorter handle made from a broken splitting maul handle. I was able to use the flared end of the handle in this hammer to help keep it from slipping out of your hand. The beast weighs about 6 1/2 pounds. Note that one end of the hammer head tapers down to a diameter of about 1 1/2 inch. The opposite end of the hammer head is 8 sided with dimensions of about 2 inch X 2 inch.
