ORCA: Old Vistite Jasper Rough 1 Pound 11 Ounces, OregonDug over 30 years ago in the Ochoco's of central Oregon not to far from Walton Lake. The Vistaite beds are pretty much dug out today. This material is aluvial and if you were lucky when you were digging you got a piece or two if not you would go home empty handed. This is an extremely hard jasper and it takes a glass polish, these all show the classic coloring and some picture patterns.
