This photograph was purchased at an estate auction of a man I believe was a News Photographer. I purchased a large lot of World War II news photographs and on each photograph was the story that went with this photograph which is shown in the second image. This photo shows officers and men aboard a Navy PT boat keeping a sharp lookout for Japanese as they head to a rendezvous to assist in landing of Army troops above Ormoc in the Philippines on Christmas day. Read the description image for more information. This photo is about 8 by 10 inches and has some curl and minor creasing, but is in generally good condition. ATTENTION CUSTOMERS IN ITALY AND TAIWAN- Unfortunately t seems to be a delay in getting packages to Italy and Taiwan . A few of my customers have not received their packages despite the fact that they were shipped weeks ago. T are several people who have posted similar complaints on the International Shipping Forum in eBay. For this reason, I cannot guarantee delivery to Italy or Taiwan at this time. Shipments to Italy or Taiwan will require priority shipping and additional insurance resulting in a total shipping and handling fee of $15.00. Should your package not arrive, it may take as long as 6 months to recover damages from the postal service.
