This photograph was purchased at an estate auction of a man I believe was a News Photographer. I purchased a large lot of World War II news photographs and on each photograph was the story that went with this photograph which is shown in the second image. This photo shows Pvt Arthur Daigle, Methuan, MA, and Pfc Arnold Potts, Washington, IN, examining a launcher for "screaming meemies" which was captured from the Germans near Erpel, Germany. In the background, Pfc. Alexander Wecmen, Milwaukee, WS, stands by his 50 cal multiple mount machine guns. Read the description image for more information. This photo is about 8 by 10 inches and has some curl and minor creasing, but is in generally good condition. ATTENTION CUSTOMERS IN ITALY AND TAIWAN- Unfortunately t seems to be a delay in getting packages to Italy and Taiwan .
