Oriental Wall Scroll Set The Dragon & The Phoenix From ancient times until now, no two creatures have held such a prominent place in world culture and mytholigy as the Dragon & the Phoenix. The Phoenix rejuvinates it's self throughout the ages by dying and being reborn from it's own ashes. The Dragon, growing even more powerful and wise as the centuries pass. These creatures were often used as symbols to represent an Emperor and an Empress. These are both done in a beautiful Sumi-e ink painting style. 100% hand crafted, they are primitive style scrolls made with natural materials and go well with nearly any other decor. Both are Aprox 9 1/2 inches wide x 25 inches long while hanging. The art is printed using dye inks on an exquisite Lokta fiber paper, hand made in the Himalayan Mountains region of Nepal in a process that has remained unchanged for nearly 2000 years. The scrolls are framed between bamboo hangers with a dark sage colored silken hanger cord and tassels. Each one is hand assembled by the artists at Palace Productions Art Studio.
