UP FOR AUCTION IS AN ANTIQUE, COLLECTABLE & PRETTY PIECE OF SCOTTISH, MAUCHLINE BLACK LACQUER PATTERN WARE / PATTERNWARE STYLE : A very pretty wood treen sycamore napkin ring {black lacquer interior} with a pretty and colourful depiction on green paper under varnish of colourful stylised Japanesque / Oriental flowers and designs; very "cloisonné" in look. USE : A serviette table napkin ring. This was part of a set and is numbered 2 on the back. We have a 2nd one of the set currently listed {no.1} Check out my other items ! DIMENSIONS : It has a diameter of 5 cms top/bottom aperture and with a depth of 2.5 cms. CONDITION : In good vintage condition; pretty and clear detail of the very Oriental floral design on paper under varnish with a few little nicks/knocks/scrapes commensurate with age/use/handling.
