WOW! Take a look at this most unusual piece! Up for auction is a NODDING (MOVING) ORIENTAL MAN FIGURINE -- his head and his hands move and keep moving for a while when touched! It is AWESOME! We don't know much about the history of this piece at all. We believe it to be old -- from somew between 1940s-1960s -- but cannot confirm that. We did take pictures of the markings on the inside. One is marked "Ardalt Japan Lenwile China" and "Hand Painted". Below the logo is the number 6635 A. On the bottom of one of the hand pieces is a paper label which reads "Registration Applied" with some numbers that are very hard to read. (If anyone knows anything about this figurine or the company who made it, or how old it is, please email so we can add it to the description -- thanks!) It is made from a type of ceramic or porcelain material and is hand painted. It is a beautiful piece! He is almost 8 1/2" tall. The musical instrument is the widest part and it measures 7 1/4" wide. From the front of the musical instrument to the back of figure, it measures 5 3/4". Overall, the piece is in excellent condition! T are no cracks or chips. As you can see, the paint, which was applied by hand, is in excellent condition as well! We did notice some sort of flaw -- can't quite figure out what it is exactly. It is on top of the musical instrument -- we took read more
