Original complete New York Times newspaper dated May 7, 1937. HINDENBURG BURNS IN LAKEHURST CRASH. Complete paper of 52 pages. Picture of the Hindenburg in flames on front and 2 more pages of pictures inside. This paper was removed from a bound volume of newspapers and has the numerous small stab holes in left margin made when it sewn into the binding. Because of the high acid content in the newsprint, the paper has uniformly browned and is brittle. The spine has been re-enforced with transparent archival acid free mending tissue and this covers a little chipping on the spine. T is also one small chip in the margin of the last page, otherwise completely intact. Because of the brittleness, the paper must be handled very carefully. Dirigibles, Zeppelins, Airships. Mailed unfolded and well protected. Shipping: $4.00 in U.S.
