Original, good condition. Guaranteed original. Zippo lighter with original insert. The lighter has some wear and scratches. The hinge is in working condition but is loose. Engraved to Rudolf Vaitl, who fought with the German Army during WWII. He then came to the US and served in the US Army with the 60th Infantry Regt. 9th Army and was stationed back in Germany in Heilbronn. Neat history that appeals to both US and German collectors. The lighter has an applied DI pin of the 60th Inf Reg and 60 Infantry Insignia. The lighter dates from 1953 so it was his from his US Occupation duty, but I also listed it under German WWII for the German collectors to see. The lighter has no fluid, the striker wheel spins nice and tight and the fling is almost worn away. PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR MORE MILITARY ITEMS.
