Purchased from an Estate this is an extremely rare Original Photo signed autograph Leslie Howard with salutation. This early original signed photo of Leslie Howard inscribed “To Glenea Vare The most persuasive guy in the world, Success ” – I believe that is what appears to be written. A great face forward photo showing a very young handsome Mr. Howard. Wonderful light and shadow photography emphasizes his great eyes with his haunting stare into the camera. This is great photo – a full face close up of a very young Mr. Howard meticulously dressed. Lower left signed White Studio NY. The back of the photo stamped “Courtesy of Credit will be appreciated WHITE STUDIOS N Y. The LARGE photo measures approx. 10 x 13 ¼ inches. Excellent to near mint condition. We don’t know if this is inscribed to Glenna Vare -- an American Hall of Fame golfing champion whom the Hall calls the greatest female golfer of her day, and who dominated American women's golf in the 1920s.
