Orig. Civil War Period Gutta Percha Inkwell w/Dip Pen I'm pleased to offer this great two piece lot consisting of a nice screw top gutta percha travel inkwell and a period nib/dip pen for writing correspondence/documents in the field. The inkwell is in great used condition with working screw top standing at 2". The dip pen is 6-7/8" long and has a worn bittersweet painted shaft. Together, they make a great addition to any display of personal effects/haversack items. This is part of a large 30+ year Civil War collection that I have the privilege of selling on consignment. I have over 28 years dealing in antiques but am by no means an expert on everything that comes through so please ask questions and/or for additional photos if needed.
