This is a pencil sketch of the Grinch by Chuck Jones. It is also signed by him. It is on his official letterhead with From: Chuck Jones in the upper left hand corner. It was sent to a fan who wrote a letter to Chuck. The piece comes with a letter signed by Chuck Jones stating words to the effect that enclosed please find a rough sketch of the Grinch and thank you for your letter. He also says that he thinks he looks more like the Grinch then the Grinch looks like him. The letter is also signed by Chuck. These pieces are getting harder to find and the Grinch is a great subject. I have seen similar drawings by Chuck in galleries for over $2,000. The drawing is on 8 1/2" by 11 /12" stationarty. Grinch is approximately 5 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" wide. Shipping will be $20.
