Orig Japanese Hand Colored Photo-M.A. McDowell-River This is a lot of 2 original hand colored Japanese photograph attributed by photographer M.A. McDowell. These photos both consist of scenes by a beautiful iridescent flowing river. The first one is of a small boat that is pulled ashore. The boat is carrying men and women as t are a small boy and girl on the rocky shore. The second photo is of men and women resting on small decks that overlook a river. Boats are tied up along the shore of the calm flowing river. Both of the photos are brought to life with the use of color. The vibrant red and soothing greens in the photos makes them a treat to view. Both are in fine original condition with only slight chipping around the edges, none of which affect the viewing of the photo. Both are signed on the back by "M.A. McDowell." and also have a stamp that reads "Utaki, No. 34, Yokohama Japan." It measures 4 3/4" x 12".
