You are bidding on avery beautiful, colorful, and special original Japanese woodblock print “Flower Willow Bijin, Number Fifty-five” Signed by an unknown artist made in Taisho Era (around 1920s). This is an original woodblock print more than 90 years old. This woodblock print is part of a large number of Asian art and Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. We are gradually selling them. The size of th is woodblock print is 10 ¼ x 7 ¼ inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. The artist’s chop mark and publisher’s chop mark are close to the middle left edge of the print while the carver and printer’s chop seals are in the lower left border and another publisher’s chop seal is in the bottom border. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. This original woodblock print is attached to original Japanese backing paper to protect it from forming wormholes and tearing. Except for a very minor horizontal crease in the middle, and a minor vertical crease close to the right edge, this woodblock print is in good condition . Please examine the photos.
