DESCRIPTION & CONDITION Being offered is another great original press release photo of George M. Cohan in the play, "The Tavern". Measures 11" x 14". In excellent vintage condition save for a couple of small paper rubs on the bottom of the photo, do not deter from image. A great piece of theatre memorabelia. We were lucky enough to buy out an estate of a local Philadelphia entertainment reporter of the 20's and 30's....Tommy LaBrum. Included in the treasures, we found many photos of Broadway actors and actresses, many autographed, most of whom we never heard of....but among all the photos were many of George M. Cohan...this is one of them. It is press release photo or beauty shot as they sometimes called them. I estimate this photo from the late 30's. If you love our old wonderful stars, this is a great collector's piece...I will have several more to come. Please read the following selling policy very carefully before bidding....... If you can't pay for an item within this time frame, do not bid. We ship Priority Mail as a standard because most customers want speedy delivery. However, we will ship any method you prefer if you request us to do so. I charge $.50-1.00 handling & packaging to offset the high expense of certain packaging materials on only those packages that require special materials . We try to do our best with our descriptions and point out the good as well as the not so good. We strive to mention every major flaw. We are not experts in any one particular area....because we sell mostly vintage stuff, t will be age related imperfections, normal everyday wear and odors of age. Unless otherwise noted, please do not assume an item to be in mint condition. Again, if you feel that we haven't covered enough detail for this item, we encourage you to ask as many questions as needed to make an informed decision before bidding. We are sorry, but we no longer have a return policy. T may be a rare instance w we may approve of a return if certain circumstances warrant...in which case the buyer pays return postage+insurance and item must be received in the exact condition as shipped.
