An ORIGINAL STOCK GUIDE, FIXING SCREW AND TENSIONING PLATE for Stanley mitre boxes Nos. 240, 242, 244, 248, 348 and 358 by STANLEY. These guides, two of which were included with each Stanley mitre box, were used to hold the stock in place. When not needed, they would slide back and through the back of the mitre box and out of the way. Unfortunately, they projected out the back when so positioned and were sometimes "temporarily" removed, only to be separated from the mitre box. If you have a Stanley precision mitre box and it is missing the original stock guide, this full assembly will put you back in business. Length = 6.88 Inches (Ref. Id No.: 374820) [Free Shipping]
