This is an Original USGI Blank Adapter for the M-1 Carbine or the M1A1 Airborne Paratrooper Carbine. This spring loaded blank adapter simply attaches to the front of the barrel, with no modification or damage to the weapon that you attach it to. You simply push it onto the barrel and turn it to lock it on. This is an ACTUAL USGI blank adapter, and it is nicely maker marked and dated 3-53. This would make an excellent addition to any collection, and would go great with a mannequin. It would also be perfect for a re-enactor.
