Up for auction is a k98 84/98 combat bayonet for the Mauser rifle. Blade measures approx. 9 3/4 inches long. The blade has not been sharpened and is nick and damage free free. The blade blueing rates approx. 95%. The blade is marked S/244G and serial number 5540d. G date bayonets are made in 1935. The bakelite grips are in overall fine condition, no splits or cracks. The pommel button works perfectly. Pomell blue rates approx 95%. The scabbard is dent and ding free. Scabbard blueing rates approx 90%. The scabbard is marked S/244G and serial number 7069d. A very nice early bayonet. Buyer must be 18 years old or older. I can't ship this to CHINA, RUSSIA or ITALY. Shipping in the US will be determined by your mailing address, foreign shipping will be at cost (at the end of the auction I'll pack the bayonet and get you an actual shipping cost from the post office). Insurance cost will be determined at the end of the auction according to the actual selling price. I accept most forms of payment, just inquire. I offer a 14 day return policy.
