Original mid-war pattern machine embroidered pocket patch from the 174th Aviation Company (Sharks and Dolphins). This would be the second design of three that were worn during the Vietnam War. This style shows up in the late 68 through 69 time frame. Plenty of photographic evidence of this type of patch in wear. It's also a rare variant with the OD type background.
