Thirteen points of interest are listed and keyed to the view including Contra Costa in the distance, the California Exchange, the Marine Telegraph, etc. The harbor is filled with ships and the city's growth is already evident. A remarkable, historical, early and very desirable tinted lithographic view. Good impression and color on sheet with very wide margins. Map has been mounted much earlier on parchment paper. Two large fold intersection splits, (map should be professionally restored). Several small stains and some light toning or soiling at folds. A wonderful original piece of history.
