Made by The Davis Sewing Machine Company and sold by Sears. This bike is "barn fresh"!! I didn't attempt to clean or polish it. I know it would look great after a good cleaning and polishing. I just cleaned the seat top...leaving the remainder to the lucky new owner. The word " Chief" is embossed on the seat and on the RARE hand grips. The bike features a 3-speed Sturmey Archer coaster hub. The porcelain badge (name plate) is in great shape. I didn't remove or test the tire pump which is attached to the frame. The painted wood rims are also in very good shape. I think the one tire even holds air. Look at the great kickstand...I believe it was also used on the Harley Davidson bicycles. One original pedal is missing...the original pedal shows a lot of wear. This is a rare bike with the low number produced and with its originality condition. Bid now and don't be sorry later.
