This auction is for an original postwar Lionel 5C Service Station Test Set in Excellent (C7) condition. Manufactured in 1948, this all purpose tester works with all Lionel transformers, locomotives, whistle tenders, rolling stock and accessories of its day. Consists of a silver-colored aluminum control panel, steel case, AC volt meter, RCS test tracks, internal power source and tender whistle. The piece appears to be complete and worked when tested. The volt meter is in working order; lamp test socket and track are functioning. The gray crackle finish metal case is clean; no rust, dents, dings or major scratches. The aluminum control panel shows modest signs of handling wear; lettering on the control panel is strong. The test leads are original to this piece. Be sure to visit my other Lionel auctions on eBay.
